Cape Classic
In 2004 Gabi Zahn founded two NGOs, one in Bad Kissingen, Germany and the other in Swellendam, South Africa. At the same time, she started to organise a festival of classical chamber music. The concerts were held from 2005 until 2015 on historical wine estates in the Western Cape. The aim of both NGOs was to generate funds from ticket sales, to be donated to underprivileged children of the Western Cape for educational projects. Meanwhile Cape Classic has donated approximately ZAR 2 386 000.00 for various social projects. The South African concert series stopped in 2015, but continued in 2017 in Bavaria. Even during the Covid period, Cape Classic continued to transfer money to support the projects. We believe that a solid education enables a better future for everybody. We would be grateful if you would support our work. Thank you very much!
